The Fare Estimator tool is a guide and not the actual fare paid to the driver for the ride. Since there are currently no published regulated taxicab rates, LehWeRide is providing fare transparency through the distance digital taximeters displayed on the Drivers App. The rate results are based on the current average market price with some adjustments for traffic conditions. We hope this fare transparency effort will eventually result in industry-wide standards for fair and affordable taxicab rates for both riders and drivers
